It is widely believed that brown eggs are healthier than white eggs (which is false), and so the marketing strategists have taken full advantage of this belief and hiked the prices f the brown shelled eggs.
Another reason might be that brown eggs vs white eggs are actually bigger in size, and so the prices are raised.
Also, the hens that lay brown eggs are bigger in size than the white feathered hens, this means that the farmer has used more feed towards the upkeep of the bird.

Once again, it just a widespread rumor that brown shell eggs are stronger and hardier than white shell eggs. The only time you may find a difference in the shell is when comparing the eggs of a young fowl to that of an older fowl.

But, recent studies have shown that it is the unsaturated fats that clog the arteries. 2. Egg Pasteurization Destroys The Nutrients
The nutrients present in an egg are no destroyed by egg pasteurization. It is also believed that you can pasteurize your own eggs at home in the microwave. DO NOT try to do so. The equipment required to pasteurize an egg is not sold for household purposes.
3. Farmers Market Is Healthier Than The Grocery Stores
Just because you are buying the product directly from the farmer does not mean that the egg is any healthier or salmonella free! Your best bet is to buy all organic eggs which are marked and sold at a higher rate.
4. Only Egg Yolks Can Be Contaminated
Many people believe that since salmonella is mostly found in the yolk of an egg, it is safe to eat the white and dispose of the yolk. But, although salmonella is mostly situated in the egg yolk, there are also possibilities of it being situated in the whites of the egg as well!
5. Wash Egg Shells To Clean Them
By wetting an egg shell, you are actually making the shell porous, allowing bacteria to enter easily. Simply break the shell and dispose of the dirty shell.
6. Eat A Raw Egg When Sick For Extra Protein
DO NOT under any circumstances swallow a raw egg. Most raw eggs contain high risks of Salmonella which can be extremely harmful to your body!
